Create a complete 30-second vertical 9:16 cinematic 3D animated short titled “The Cloud That Followed One Sad Boy.”
Generate the entire story directly from text only. Do not rely on reference images, character sheets, storyboard images, existing characters, logos, brands, or copyrighted IP.
VISUAL STYLE LOCK:
Premium original stylized 3D animated short-film aesthetic with appealing rounded character designs, expressive faces, slightly exaggerated animation poses, soft handcrafted textures, colorful storybook architecture, lush vegetation, cinematic global illumination, gentle volumetric sunlight, soft depth of field, warm pastel colors, highly readable silhouettes, fluid character animation, believable cloth and rain physics, polished feature-animation quality.
The visual tone begins playful and slightly frustrating, becomes quiet and emotional in the middle, then ends warm, magical and heartwarming.
Maintain exactly the same visual style throughout the entire 30 seconds.
MAIN CHARACTER — NOAH:
Noah is an original 8-year-old boy.
Small child proportions, slim build, warm medium-brown skin, round expressive face, large dark-brown eyes, small nose, soft cheeks, messy short dark-brown curly hair.
Wardrobe must remain identical for the entire video:
bright mustard-yellow hooded jacket worn open,
soft turquoise T-shirt,
navy-blue knee-length shorts,
white ankle socks,
red canvas sneakers with white soles,
small faded green cross-body satchel.
His clothes become progressively damp because of the rain, but their design and colors never change.
Noah initially looks lonely and mildly frustrated rather than deeply distressed.
SECOND CHARACTER — PUFF:
Puff is a tiny magical cloud, roughly 60 cm wide, floating about 30–50 cm above Noah's head.
Puff has a soft rounded fluffy white body with pale blue-gray undersides, tiny rounded cloud puffs around its edges, two small expressive dark eyes and a tiny simple mouth.
Puff has no arms, no legs and no clothing.
Puff floats by gently bobbing through the air.
Its shape remains consistent throughout the film.
Puff can subtly squash, stretch and curl its edges to communicate emotion, but never transforms into another object or creature.
When happy, Puff becomes brighter and fluffier.
When sad, its underside becomes slightly grayer and it droops lower.
Only Puff produces the localized rain following Noah.
FLOWER:
One tiny wilted fantasy flower grows beside the cobblestone path.
It has a thin green stem, two drooping leaves and one closed pale-pink blossom.
After receiving water it naturally transforms into one large glowing peach-and-pink flower, roughly large enough to shelter Noah and Puff beneath its petals.
ENVIRONMENT LOCK:
A whimsical fantasy village on a beautiful sunny afternoon.
Cream stone cottages with curved terracotta roofs, colorful flower boxes, winding cobblestone streets, tiny market stalls, hanging fabric banners, distant green hills and a bright blue sky filled with soft white clouds.
Warm golden sunlight illuminates the village everywhere except directly underneath Puff.
There is no storm.
The unusual visual joke is that a miniature rain shower follows only Noah while everyone and everything around him remains sunny and dry.
Maintain consistent village architecture and geography between shots.
STORYTELLING RULE:
The audience must understand the premise visually within the first two seconds.
Use clean cinematic cuts between story beats.
Do not teleport characters between shots.
Every action must clearly cause the next action.
Keep acting large, charming and easily readable on a phone screen.
Never overcrowd the frame.

0:00–0:04 — IMMEDIATE VIRAL HOOK
Open immediately on a medium-wide frontal tracking shot.
Noah walks slowly down the perfectly sunny village street looking gloomy.
Directly above him floats tiny Puff.
A ridiculous narrow column of rain pours only onto Noah.
The cobblestones immediately around Noah are wet while everything just one meter away is completely dry and glowing in sunshine.
Noah's curly hair and mustard-yellow jacket are damp.
He takes two annoyed steps.
Puff perfectly follows.
Noah suddenly stops.
Puff stops.
Noah steps sideways.
Puff glides sideways with him.
Noah looks straight upward with exhausted disbelief.

Noah suddenly runs.
Cut to energetic side tracking.
He races past a fruit stand.
Puff accelerates effortlessly above him and the tiny rain shower continues following him perfectly.
Noah ducks beneath a striped market awning.
The rain stops hitting him for half a second.
Noah smiles triumphantly.
Puff calmly floats around the edge of the awning and lowers itself beside the opening.
Rain immediately splashes Noah again.
Noah's smile disappears.
A vendor in the distant background looks confused but does not become an important character.
Noah runs onward.

Quick push-in on Noah's disappointed face when the rain returns.

0:09–0:14 — CONFRONTATION
Cut to a quieter small cobblestone lane beside the village.
Noah stops abruptly.
Puff nearly floats past him, then gently drifts backward.
The rain continues.
Noah turns around, plants both feet, looks directly upward and points at Puff.
Camera moves into a medium close-up including Noah and Puff.
Noah says:
“Why are you following me?”
The music immediately softens.
Puff's rain stops.
Puff's fluffy edges droop.
Its pale underside becomes slightly gray.
Puff lowers several centimeters and gives one tiny apologetic cloudy whimper.
Noah's angry expression slowly changes into confusion.
CAMERA:
Begin medium shot.
Slow emotional push-in.
Hold long enough to clearly read Puff's sadness.
AUDIO:
Music reduces to soft piano and glockenspiel.
Rain fades naturally to silence.
Tiny airy “puff” whimper from Puff.
Distant village ambience remains.

0:14–0:19 — DISCOVERY
Noah turns to leave.
Camera follows his movement.
He takes one step and notices the tiny wilted pale-pink flower beside the hot dry cobblestone path.
Cut to a close insert of the flower:
drooping stem,
dry soil,
curled leaves.
Noah looks from the flower...
to Puff...
back to the flower.
His eyes widen as he gets an idea.
His expression shifts from frustration to gentle excitement.
He crouches beside the flower and points toward it.
DIALOGUE — NOAH, quiet realization:
“Wait... you can help.”
Puff perks up slightly.
CAMERA:
Close-up flower insert.
Cut to Noah's face.
Then rack focus from Noah's pointing hand to Puff floating behind him.
AUDIO:
One hopeful musical note.
Soft magical bell texture begins underneath the score.
No rain yet.
==================================================
0:19–0:25 — MAGICAL PAYOFF
Noah carefully gestures for Puff to move over the wilted flower.
Puff hesitates for a fraction of a second, then happily floats directly above it.
One single sparkling raindrop forms underneath Puff.
Extreme close-up:
the drop falls in slow motion.
It lands in the dry soil.
Soft magical light travels through the soil into the stem.
Then Puff releases a gentle miniature shower.
The wilted flower straightens.
Leaves unfold.
The small closed blossom rapidly but organically blooms into a h
