0–2s — The Device
Third-person medium shot: ALEX stands inside a small modern room and notices a strange retro-futuristic device sitting on a desk. The device has a large red button.
Curious, ALEX presses it.
A swirling blue-orange energy portal suddenly tears open behind him. Papers, objects, and loose items are violently pulled toward it.
2–4s — Sucked In
POV shot: The portal suddenly pulls ALEX backward.
His hands appear in front of the camera as he desperately grabs the edge of the desk, trying to hold on.
The force becomes too strong and ALEX is violently dragged into the portal.
4–7s — Medieval Battlefield
First-person POV: ALEX is suddenly thrown onto a muddy medieval battlefield.
He looks down and realizes he is wearing full medieval armor and awkwardly holding a large sword.
Smoke fills the battlefield as a heavily armored warrior suddenly charges directly toward him.
ALEX quickly backs away and says:
“NOPE. Nope, nope, nope!”
7–9s — Second Time Jump
A blue-orange portal suddenly opens beneath ALEX.
The ground disappears.
POV: ALEX falls through a swirling vortex as flashes of different historical environments rapidly pass around him.
He is violently thrown out of the portal again.
9–11s — Medieval Farm
First-person POV: ALEX lands face-first in a muddy medieval field.
He is now wearing rough peasant clothing and gripping a wooden farming tool.
An angry medieval farmer points toward an unfinished field, demanding that ALEX get to work.
Suddenly, a goat walks over and headbutts ALEX's leg.
ALEX pauses and looks down in disbelief.
“You have got to be kidding me.”
11–13s — Portal Escalates
A blue-orange portal suddenly opens above ALEX and rapidly expands.
Mud, hay, wooden tools, and the farmer's hat begin flying upward.
The farmer desperately grabs his hat while ALEX looks toward the sky in disbelief.
ALEX says:
“Oh, come on!”
13–15s — Final Twist
The portal suddenly flashes intensely.
ALEX is lifted off the ground and sucked upward.
As he disappears into the vortex, he briefly sees another version of himself falling through the portal from a completely different time period.
ALEX stares at his other self in confusion.
The portal violently snaps shut.
Audio: Portal vacuum roar, rushing wind, object impacts, medieval battle ambience, distant drums, farm ambience, goat bleat, farmer shouting, ALEX's dialogue, and a sudden silence immediately after the portal closes.
