One continuous take, no cuts from start to end. Photoreal, present day, 35mm film grain, handheld documentary energy. A choreographed stunt and martial-arts sequence performed by trained performers.
@Runner is the woman — her face, cheekbones, eyes, tied-back hair and costume stay exactly as shown for the whole take.
@Pursuer is the man — his face, shaved head, beard and long black coat stay exactly as shown for the whole take.
@BazaarSet is the first location — a corridor inside Istanbul's Grand Bazaar today.
@HanSet is the second location — the courtyard of an Ottoman han beside it.
The crowd is generated in the shot: ordinary present-day shoppers and tourists filling the aisle, moving past as background flow.
SCREEN POSITION: @Runner moves toward screen-right; @Pursuer comes from screen-left. This holds for the entire take.
0-6s @Runner enters the bazaar corridor at full speed and accelerates through the shoppers, who turn as she passes, dust lifting into the light. Camera: tracking alongside her at hip height, running with her, the corridor stretching away in both directions.
6-11s She loses ground weaving between the stalls; @Pursuer comes in from screen-left on a straighter line, the gap closing across the frame, and reaches her at the stone pier, catching her forearm. She turns into the grip, snaps a quick low side kick that puts him back a step, and breaks away still running. Camera: holds the two of them wide across the frame, then releases forward with her.
11-22s She bursts through the arch into @HanSet, plants her feet inside the column of daylight and turns to fight. A fast taekwondo exchange: she slips his reach, snaps a high roundhouse kick that he blocks on his forearm, spins through into a back kick that lands square and folds him back two steps, then settles light on the balls of her feet with her guard up, dust turning in the light around them. Camera: one low orbit around the two of them, framing both figures head to foot so every kick reads in full, easing into brief slow motion on the spin, then back to speed.
22-30s He comes forward once more; she steps inside, sweeps his lead leg and he goes down onto the flagstones and stays there. She holds her stance a beat, then turns and walks out through the far archway into the light, the courtyard opening up around her. Camera: slows, rises slightly, and holds wide as she goes.
The scene stays with @Runner, @Pursuer and these two spaces for the whole take; the light and the drifting dust carry the final seconds.
Audio: ambient only — footsteps on stone and the distant murmur of the bazaar crowd.
